A STUDY ON PERSPECTIVE
César Brodermann X Ben Green
César Brodermann, from Mexico City , is a multifaceted artist residing in New York City.
His work combines dance, photography, and film in an attempt to study the limitless physical potential of the human body and its connection to the earth.
During the 2016/17 season, Brodermann apprenticed with the renowned New York City-based company, Gallim Dance (Andrea Miller, Artistic Director). He has performed with Gallim Dance at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City Center, Indiana University, and the South Dade Cultural Arts center in Miami.
Brodermann has taught internationally in places such as Costa Rica, Mexico and throughout the U.S. at institutions such as University of the Arts in Philadelphia, School of Creative and Performing Arts in New York City, and DOMO in Mexico City.
Brodermann’s art installations have been presented at Heath Gallery (NY), Center for Performance Research (NY), and Brooklyn Night Baazar (NY).He just finalized his first short film Are you holding me, or am I holding myself? That screened at anthology film archives, New york in January 2018

Ben Green was born in the US in 1996. He graduated from Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, and became a company member of New Dialect in 2015. He joined Batsheva – the Young Ensemble in 2016 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2017. He has choreographed works for Batsheva Ensemble Creates & Batsheva Dancers Create. He has also independently collaborated on video projects and choreographic commissions. He currently studies Curatorial Studies & Art Criticism, and curates & writes a monthly newsletter.
